This project brief was to explore the characteristics that make up a typeface. By looking further into the distinctive forms and features of a typeface, we can understand the building blocks that make a certain typeface that typeface. With a pile of typefaces, we were asked to identify and reconnect these typefaces using the lessons we learnt from identifying the characteristic of letters. The aim was to broaden our understanding of typographic forms and improve our hand making skills. Testing our skills with cutting and pasting, as well as instilling the importance of hand generating our work.
