Kinetic Typography Video
We were tasked to design a kinetic typography video featuring a place. I chose the Rad Bar, a recently closed music venue in Wollongong that I used to frequent as a high schooler. It had a rich culture and gave small local bands a stage to play.
I emulated a band poster aesthetic, drawing from visual research of punk zine posters of the 1990s. The video utilises a variety of print, hand drawn, vector based, photo and video elements.
