Reflective Exercises

In studio, we consulted our reflective journals and started to represent our thoughts and ideas over the semester and year into metaphorical depictions. We displapyed them by relating them to animals and buildings and we wrote a letters to a future UTS student and noted our breakdowns and breakthroughs.

For the final insight card designs, I used a variety of approaches and materials with paper collage and digital art combining letterforms. This represents how I have challenged myself with the new medium of collage and typography in my design practice over the year. In each set I have used a visual metaphor which I came up with in the studio exercises. These helped me represent and understand the reflective writing I had done over the semester.
