PROJECT 5: A3 Poster

An A3 poster based on my ethical reflection on Country about "What does it mean to be an ethical designer on Gadigal Country in 2023?"

Brief: Expand on your Ethical Practice on Country reflection using what you have learned in your fabrication workshop.

I chose screen printing for my workshop so I got to use the screen printing facilities to create my ‘Ethical Practice on Country’ poster I really enjoyed getting to go use the facilities for this task and found it interesting to think of different way I can use the materials and tools provided. For this, I lino printed some textures using screen printing ink, in the workshop space, and used those textures in the main text of the poster. I chose to do this method so that I could have a really clean outcome, and so I could play with colours after I added textures. I think the poster turned out quite clean and refined and it was interesting to work with text as image to create something visually interesting and coherent.
