Chinese Horoscope

Brief

Brief: Create a series of collages which represent each of the Chinese Horoscope animal signs. The visual language you develop will need to carry across all 12 animals so that they operate as a set. These are meant to be graphic rather than richly illustrative.

Process

This project was done during quarantine while I had a lot of type magazines laying around. I shredded the pages of the magazines and glued the ones with the same colour together.

Then I cut out the shapes of the animals and assigned them each a colour. After I laid all the animals next to each other, they all looked cohesive as they were all produced the same way.
